HKS was launched in 1973 in Japan, leading the Japanese performance industry for over 48 years! As an innovative company, HKS constantly develops new products, originating with their first turbocharger kit introduced in 1974. Specialising in electronic control devices, car tuning parts and exclusively for us at Jap Performance Parts, HKS service products.

Specialising in high performance car parts engineering and manufacturing, HKS have been breaking performance boundaries for decades and will definitely continue to steer the growth of future technology and the manufacture of racing parts as far as cars go.

HKS’ services extend from Japan, to Europe, USA and Asia, becoming an international supplier, adapting their products to suit regional requirements and regulations . There lies only one reason for this – from engine tuning to suspension, HKS doesn’t compromise on quality and performance, whatever the price may be! They were destined to become our only choice for service items at Jap Performance Parts. In fact, owner, Sajid Moghal, would describe their products as ‘the Rolls Royce of the tuning industry!’ it doesn’t get any better than that!

In 1994, HKS introduced a suspension coil spring, identifying the need for strength in metal and making driving smoother by softening vibrations and bumps from the road. 

In March 1996, HKS created a sales site in Europe accessing a bigger platform for their customer base to supply products outside of Japan and America. The company was successful.  In 2001 they created a base in Thailand as a sales site for South Eastern Asian countries. This was a massive development to the business!

In 2008, with an eye on sustainability they released a bi-fuel conversion kit changing the engine between petrol to compressed natural gas. Whilst many manufacturers tend to ignore the method of production, we can assure that HKS does not do this at the expense of the environment which is why we support them by supplying their stock –  our promise at JPP is that we research companies before supplying their products to our customers, we ensure the highest level of satisfaction for customers!

One of the biggest achievements any company could celebrate was the fact we were featured in Fast and Furious 6 in London. The items were used as part of an awesome set showcasing  the spectacular mechanical aspect of racing and driving!
