“Lightweight” Concept
Hi-Power SPEC-L mufflers are designed to be a pure light weight performance sports muffler.
Usually super light mufflers are constructed from titanium and this raises the cost. However, HKS Hi-Power SPEC-L mufflers are constructed from SUS304 grade stainless steel. To save weight without any trade-offs, every single part of this muffler has been designed with the idea of reducing weight.
Finished with carbon tips, the HKS Hi-Power SPEC-L muffler for the Honda Civic Type-R offers a 6.0kg weight saving (34% lighter) over the stock muffler. (Stock muffler weight: 17.5kg, Spec-L weight: 11.6kg)

*2: Minimum road clearance between HKS muffler (Any parts included in the kit) and road surface. Therefore, it may be different from actual road clearance of the vehicle.
