HKS Cambelt Kit

We often get asked if the upgrade kevlar belts from HKS, Gates, & Cosworth are needed? We highly recommend them in competition, high power, height RPM applications. We have seen belts stretch on our own demo cars and and therefore understand the need for them. In standard applications, the standard Gates belts are perfectly adequate in our experience.

HKS Cambelt kit for a Mitsubishi Evo 4-9, kit includes:

• HKS Fine Tune Timing Belt/ Cambelt – HKS This timing belt/ cam belt is best suited for use with HKS Slide Cam-Pulley. Optimised belt strength for each engine application makes the Fine Tune Timing Belt ideal for use with HKS Slide Cam-Pulleys for high power/high RPM engine.
• HKS Fine Tune Balancer Belt – The balancer is designed to reduce engine vibration by creating a vibration in the opposite direction to the engine. When used at high RPM such as on circuits, the vibration will naturally increase which causes more load on the balancer.
• 3 x OE replacement Pulleys
