Well, what can we say. Yet again an action packed show from start to finish!
The Celica and Subaru were on-hand, drawing the crowds in.
Some minor technical issues plagued the Subaru for it's first 2 runs, but once fixed was back on full form with a set of tyres only lasting 3-4 laps!
Our next show is Japfest at Castle Coombe on the 11th May. On display will be the TA27 Celica, Impreza Drift Car and Wug Uttings Group N Impreza rally car.

Sunday the 31st March saw the opening round of the 2013 BTCC calender at Brands Hatch, Kent.
Jap Performance Parts were invited down for the day to be trackside in the paddock alongside the AMD / Kleers team.

Jap Performance Parts is proud to annouce the returned partnership with James Kaye, backing the AMD Kleers Super 2000 BTCC VW Golf.
Jap Performance Parts was last involved in the BTCC in 2010 with James at the wheel of the Integra DC5 finishing 9th at Donnington.
James has a vast racing career driving with Honda and Mitsubishi in many championships across the world including BTCC, FIA World GT and Belgian Pro Car.

We built the Celica for one reason, just to be cool.

High power and spot on handling were not what we wanted. The following video from Togethia highlights how cool this car really is.
Here at JPP we love working on rare and interesting JDM cars. There aren't many cooler cars than a 1975 Celica GT. This car was sourced in Japan as a non running 1600 GT.
After almost a year in the back of the workshop and the odd weekends working its, its been trasmformed to a new car powered by the 3SGE beams engine and 6 speed gearbox froma Toyota Altezza.

Mike Brewer and his team from Wheeler Dealer came down to Jap Performance Parts to film an episode for the new series featuring a R33 Skyline GTST.
Mike and Edd were buying the car to build into a budget drifter, and even had a go themselves.
The JPP RB26 powered Subaru features when Mike and Edd get some pointers from Walton Smith.
The new series of Wheeler Dealer airs from the 9th October 2012 on the Discovery channel.

Nat Geo are launching a new show in October featuring two teams who compete to make a profit from selling car parts. Jap Performance Parts was chosen to supply cars for the 'Fast and Furious' episode which is due to be on TV on 15th October. Also in the film Walton takes presenter Frankie out for a spin in the Suabru drift car at Brands Hatch.

The Drift Allstars series is coming to London on June 24th 2012. Being held at the infamous Wimbledon Arena, this looks to be another nail biting round.

A very damp track greeted us on arrival at Birmingham City Speedway, although within a coupe hours of tyre abuse warmed up.
Consistant runs in qualifying meant Walton brought home a 5th place position for the Top 16 battles.
A very tight fight between Walton and Luke Fink in the Top 4, with the judges putting Fink through to the finals. We move on to battle Juha Rintanen and his S14 in the 3rd/4th play offs.
Juha's car from the start pulls ahead with its near on 200 horsepower advantage, and takes the win.
We would like to thank everyone who helped and supported us at the event. We look forward to seeing more of you at Round 2 in Wimbledon.

A great result for our first outing of 2011,Walton won the team drifting against some of the best teams in the UK and Ireland. The first session saw the Subaru break a drive shaft, after we replaced that, it went from strength to strength. It was a great turnout, great to see so many of our customers and friends.
As if that was not enough, we drove stright on to Sunderland for Round 2 of JDM Allstars at the Nissan Factory. After not much sleep and another early start, the Subaru performed faultlessly. There was great media interest in the car and we were asked to take Gemma Hunt (BBC) and Ian Black, Nissan Production Director for a passenger ride at the end of the event.
A very big thanks to Car Travel and driver Chris for all their support this weekend.

Jap Peformance is proud to annouce its sponsorhip of James Kaye in the BTCC. This is the first time JPP has been involved in BTCC and is working closely with James in his come back to BTCC after four years. The car has been rebuilt and had its debut at Donnington in September 2010, taking 9th place and scoring points in its first outing. We look forward to Brands Hatch in October and the 2011 season.

What a weekend, Walton takes 4th place at JDM Allstars 2010 in the Jap Performance Parts Subaru. This is an amazing result for only the second time the car has been driven and against 32 of the best drift cars in Europe - from Poland, Holland, Ireland and the UK. A special thanks to Matthew and Harry from Car Travel for all there help.
After rebuilding the rear aches, lowering and softening the back suspension, the Suabru handled a lot better for the bumps at the Wembley track. Walton managed to secure 9th position in qualifying after a faultless day for car and driver.

The Subaru drift car goes for its first test - during the practise sessions at the Nissan Plant in Sunderland. The car has been a great success with thanks to the great work put in by Garage D to complete the car and Walton who after just one lap of the circuit in a completely untested car was running at the pace of the top seed cars!! We managed around 20 runs with a range of tyres, apart from a loose boost hose, the car was absolutely falutless.
We were very very happy with the results and decided we might as well enter qualifying - Walton came in 8th place, a massive achievement for a new car, of which we are a really proud!!!

Jap Performance Parts was selected by the TV show Wheeler Dealer last week. Wheeler Dealers is a much loved car show airing as part of the Discovery channel suite of programs. Mike Brewer and Ed China show viewers how to buy the right car at the right price, fix it up on a budget, and make a nice profit.
Filming took place in our workshop when Mike Brewer visited us to buy parts for their latest project. We had a lot of fun with Mike and the crew, also featured in the film will be our Drift car, which impressed them!
This show aired 2nd November 2010.

Walt and i get a chance to spend a day on the car and put together all the parts required to finish the job. Walt will modify the suspensions, hubs, rear axles and steering to meet the demands of competion. We went through the stores and pulled out S14 LSD, shafts and hubs, A subaru GDB rack and Evo 8 arms, sets of lower arms and hubs to use as spares, plus some WORK Emotion wheels, coilovers, etc.
We are excited about the partnership and Walt got to sit in his new office!!

Jap Performance Parts are pround to announce that the Impreza Drift car will be competeing in 2010. JPP are official sponsors of the JDM AllStars series and will compete in the last five rounds this year. We will update this page soon, but to confirm the driver for 2010 will be Walton Smith of Garage D.
Walton will drive for 2010 and assist us in the setup and completion of the car.
Our Thanks to PR Developments who carried out the RB25 conversion and the preperation of the shell, cage and running gear.
This is our first step in to competing, with the right combination of a great car, great setup, and great driver we hope to have good first year.

We have now moved to our new site in Stephenson Way, our two building are crammed full of spares and tuning parts for your car! We are still developing the 20,000 sq ft site, but here are a few photos of the progress so far.
The yard will house over 70 customer cars. We plan to offer our car park to local clubs for meets, keep an eye on the webiste or ask your events organiser to contact us for more details.
With the long awaited expansion we will finally be able to expand the range of vehicles we can support. Our initial plan is to start offering spares for the following vehicles:

Civic Type R EP3
Skyline R32 GTR
Skyline R34 GTT
Toyota Supra Twin Turbo
In addition to spares and tuning parts for the above, we will also eventually offer tuning parts for:
