JPP Subaru takes 4th place at JDM Allstars Wembley 2010
What a weekend, Walton takes 4th place at JDM Allstars 2010 in the Jap Performance Parts Subaru. This is an amazing result for only the second time the car has been driven and against 32 of the best drift cars in Europe - from Poland, Holland, Ireland and the UK. A special thanks to Matthew and Harry from Car Travel for all thier help.
After rebuilding the rear aches, lowering and softening the back suspension, the Suabru handled a lot better for the bumps at the Wembley track. Walton managed to secure 9th position in qualifying after a faultless day for car and driver.

4th July 2010 JDM Allstars
The Subaru drift car goes for its first test - during the practise sessions at the Nissan Plant in Sunderland. The car has been a great success with thanks to the great work put in by Garage D to complete the car and Walton who after just one lap of the circuit in a completely untested car was running at the pace of the top seed cars!! We managed around 20 runs with a range of tyres, apart from a loose boost hose, the car was absolutely falutless.
We were very very happy with the results and decided we might as well enter qualifying - Walton came in 8th place, a massive achievement for a new car, of which we are a really proud!!!
28 June 2010 - Ready to go !
Our drift car is finally up and running, now mapped, it will undergo testing at Santa Pod before we enter our first ever events at JDM Allstars in newcastle Sunday 4th July - to be held at the Nissan Factory!
14 June 2010 - Jap Performance Parts on TV...
Jap Performance Parts was selected by the TV show Wheeler Dealer last week. Filming took place in our workshop when Mike Brewer visited us to buy parts for their latest project. We had a lot of fun with Mike and the crew, also featured in the film will be our Drift car, which impressed them! We hope to see this on air in the Autumn.

Jap Performace Drift 2010
We are proud to announce that the Subaru drift car will compete in the JDM allstars Series and we have signed Walton Smith to drive the car in the last 4 rounds fo 2010.
Jap Performance Parts moves to new site..
We have now moved to our new site in Stephenson Way, our two building are crammed full of spares and tuning parts for your car! We are still developing the 20,000 sq ft site, but here are a few photos of the progress so far.
The yard will house over 70 customer cars. We plan to offer our car park to local clubs for meets, keep an eye on the webiste or ask your events organiser to contact us for more details.
With the long awaited expansion we will finally be able to expand the range of vehicles we can support. Our initial plan is to start offering spares for the following vehicles:
Honda S2000
Civic Type R EP3
Skyline R32 GTR
Skyline R34 GTT
Toyota Supra Twin Turbo
In addition to spares and tuning parts for the above, we will also eventually offer tuning parts for:
Starlet Turbo
Celica GT ST202
Celica GT4 ST205
Nissan 350Z

New Staff Join Jap Performance

2008 DRIFT car project
We are commencing work on the official Jap Performance Parts drift car for entry in to the European Drift Championshps 2008. The car is based on 1998 Subaru Impreza Type R and will be stripped and converted to rear wheel drive by PR Developments, our partner Subaru specialists.
Paul at PR will prepare the chassis and install our (estimated 450-500bhp) Nissan Skyline RB25 engine with GReddy TD06 25g turbo. The engine runs with 9 fuel injectors, a top mount manifold, oil cooler, power FC ecu and uprated internals. The transmission will consist of an RB25 gearbox, NISMO triple paddle clutch, and at this stage STi9 2006 spec hubs (114.3 PCD), shafts, arms and R180 diff from a type RA or R200 Nissan diff.
The full spec has yet to be determined, but we are really looking forward to building one of the only UK competition Impreza drift cars!

New Website Launched... (Phase 1)Jap Performance Parts is pleased announce the launch of Phase 1 of our new website. We will soon be adding lots of new features to the site including Online Ordering, Personalized Pages, a forum and lots more. Hopefully it will be just as easy to find the parts that you need but if you have any problems with the site then please give us a call.
