Walton is the official driver of the JPP Subaru Drift car. It is an awesome combination of a well engineered and built car with an highly experienced and skilled driver. In 2010 Walton has already scored a 4th place finish at JDM Allstars Wembley and an impressive 3rd place quailfying position in Belarus at the FX Open Internation competition. We look forward to developing the car over the winter and working for podium results in 2011 and contesting the chapmionship!

Walton Smith has been involved with motorsport from his early childhood alongside his family and friends.
Aged only 16, he successfully built his first high powered rear wheel drive car to compete in autograss racing along side his father, and achieved second in his class first year against drivers twice his age straight away.
Later that year Walton competed it his first drift event in a car that had originally been purchased as a replacement shell for the autgrass car. Although he had never really driven on tarmac, his experience from autograss of sliding cars at high speed proved very relevant, getting him to third place. Nowadays, although continuing to drive in autograss across Ireland, Drifting is Waltons top interest.
Currently a the UK resident, Walton drove the 2009 JDM Allstars season, an invite only championship for Europes top drifters, for SevernSide Imports drift team alongside Japanese D1 driver Kioshi Kawabata.
Walton is an exceptionally knowledgable mechanic and driver, and can identify car running problems and setups from his experience with countless other vehicles whilst working as a lead technician at Garage-D in Watford, England.
